Re: Remember - Outer Bawn
"It was the first firearm I owned on my own. If your going to learn how to fire a gun, you should have a reliable one. And I definitely want you to have it, your my best friend Carry. And besides it's still staying in the family."
He smiles at her as he finishes cleaning up the glass.

Carry nods, a small smile crossing her face. "Well, thank you then Windy. I promise I'll take good care of it, and I'll practice with it a lot." She pockets the glass pieces she had picked up, and then walked back over to the fire. She carefully lifted the box from its spot on the log, and then opened it again, admiring the weapon in front of her.
Re: Remember - Outer Bawn
He joins Carry by the fire and sits down on a log. He starts taking his DE apart again and cleaning it.
"Keeping your weapon clean is really important, nothing is as bad as your gun misfiring in the middle of a fight."

Re: Remember - Outer Bawn
Carry watches him clean his gun, taking mental notes on places to wipe and polish. "Does this gun come apart like that one does?" she asks, carefully handing the beretta to Windy.
Re: Remember - Outer Bawn
Windy takes the 9mm from her.
"Of course I will show you." He starts taking apart the firearm very slowly and carefully showing and naming the parts and pieces to Carry. Showing her what to wipe down and were to oil. It's all a lot simpler than it looks."

Carry nods. She carefully takes the pieces from Windy and puts the gun back together after it had been cleaned. "That is a lot easier than it looks." Carry agrees, putting the firearm back in its box, and then putting the box into her backpack.
