Licking Her Wounds - Umbral Bawn

[Mouse]

Carry sat curled in Lupus form underneath one of the many ancient trees that had left their shadows in the Penumbra, gently licking her wounds. There was a somber air about her. Even the Love spirits that normally bounced gaily around her seemed sad and not as energetic.

[James]

James in Crinos form walks up to her looking as just as sullen before gently sitting against the tree slight out of her view before softly rummbling out "don't take on my punishment or that of the Get. I'm responcable for hers and mine's actions"

[Mouse]

Carry shook her head, and then buried her muzzle in her paws. <<It's as much my fault as yours James...>>

[James]

James slowly nods at that "That may be true but you don't deserve more then what you and your own have done, the rest is my fault as well as the idea"

[Mouse]

Carry stood as well, bit more stiffly, and limped over to James.

<<Maybe so, but either way, we both disobeyed, and so we will both be punished. Who came up with the idea now is besides the point. We broke the Litany James...>>

[James]

James nods somberly his eyes downcast "and I'll accept the punishment for my actions....I knew what would happen, but we needed allies" he chuckles almost mockingly as he covers his face with one of his paws "My sister was right, I'd make a great shadowlord"

[Mouse]

Carry snorts. <<You're too truthful to be a Shadow Lord.>> she growls, and then shakes her head.

[James]

James looks at her with a slight sly smile "True, I've never been good at lieing. but apparently I'm good at causing touble" he closes his eyes leaning again the tree again. "So what do you think the punishment will be?"

[Mouse]

<<Knowing Darien? Probably something painful.>> Carry yips softly.

[James]

James laughs sarcasticly it ending in a soft growl "I can handle pain, that's all we seem to get eh? I'm betting he's gonna make it worse due to us being metis" he makes that chuckling growling laugh.

[Mouse]

Carry growls softly. <<Yea, probably. That's part of the territory though.>>
