A giant figure appears just before Rhia's smoldering path, and both of the disappear.
On the ground, Darien sat Rhia down stroking her feathers. "You're really going to need to teach me that rite Rhia. Too many fetishes involve spirits of pain."

Rhia straightened her wings, her feathers slightly ruffled, and reaches up to scratch at her pendant (spend a gnosis).

"Rites are my job though Darien..." she caws. "It's the one thing I am good at."

"But you shouldn't have to watch things like that. We're meant to see battle against absolute corruption, not people who love each other tearing each other apart." Darien said while softly stroking her wings. "You're too young for this."

Rhia fluffs her feathers. "I may be young, but I'm an adult according to the Corax." she points out. "I'm an Ales. The youngest in history, and I have responsibilities."
