Looking for Rhia

[Happy]

Alexander in Homid with his new sword sheathed on his back walks around the caern looking for Rhia.

[Mouse]

Rhia is in the umbra sitting way up in her tree, in homid. Leaning against the bottom of the tree is a large sliver of a mirror.

[Happy]

Alex stumbles to the tree with the mirror at the bottom then looks up to the top and sees a you girl in the tree. "Rhia, can I talk to you for a second, I have a favor to ask you?"

[Mouse]

Rhia looks down at the Silver Fang, her legs swinging slightly. "What do you need?"

[Happy]

Alex looks up at her, with a smile "I heard you could talk to spirits, and I am wishing to get a spirit bound into my new sword, I was hoping you could help me."

[Mouse]

"Oh!" Rhia said, hopping down from the tree. She landed gracefully, and then stood, brushing off her pants. "You want me to make a fetish for you? I seem to be doing that a lot recently. I just made two for Darien." she explains, looking quite proud of herself. "I can do that...but what's in it for me? I mean, why should I?"" she gives a sly grin. "Fetishes are powerful things. Why do you deserve one?"

[Happy]

Alex looks down to meet Rhia's eyes....."I feel I deserve it, because of all the things I've done in the past, but you don't know me well yet, so what must I do to show you and the spirits I am deserving?"

[Mouse]

Rhia hmms softly. "Well...it would matter on what kind of spirit you're looking to bind into your weapon."

[Happy]

Alex thinks on it for a second and then looks at Rhia, "A spirit of war."

(What all can a spirit of war do when in a weapon?)

[Mouse]

Rhia nods. "The spirit will probably want you to defeat it in battle. That's what the war spirits in Darien's sword had him do."

[Happy]

Alex looks at Rhia, "I wish to bind a spirit to cause my sword to strike for more damage."

[Mouse]

Rhia aahs. "You'd probably want a pain spirit then..." Rhia says, suddenly looking much less excited about it. "It'll want you to inflict great pain upon yourself, or someone else, before it will bind into your weapon."

[Happy]

"I am willing to sacrafice myself if that's what the spirit wants, so were do we start?"

[Mouse]

"We need to find a pain spirit." Rhia says, and then walks behind her tree. She comes back carrying a small messenger bag.

"Follow me." she says, and begins walking towards the edge of the bawn.

[Happy]

"Ok, then..."Alex watches Rhia and then follows walking closely behind her.

[Mouse]

She leads him just off the bawn, and then stops, opening her bag. "Stand back." she says simply, and then pulls out a feather, a bottle of water, some rocks, and a lighter.

She begins to make a summoning circle, first with the ash from the feather, then the rocks, then the water. The entire time she cawing under her breath. Then, she stands back, and lets out a loud caw. A pain spirit materializes in the circle.

Rhia talks quietly with it for a moment, and then looks to Alex. "It wants to know what you're willing to do for it."

[Happy]

Alex watches on in amazment, then looks at Rhia, "I am willing to cause myself great pain to bind it to my sword."

[Mouse]

Rhia relays this to the pain spirit, who makes a face and says something to Rhia. The girl frowns.

"It says that that is boring...what can you do to spice it up?"

[Happy]

"What would the spirit liike for me to do?"

[Mouse]

Rhia talks to the spirit for a moment, and then turns to look at Alex.

"It wants someone else to hurt you...someone you care about..."

[Happy]

Alex thinks for a minute...."Will the spirit wait for me to get Heather or should you get her?"

[Mouse]

Rhia gives a confused look, but talks to the spirit for a moment before looking back to Alex.

"It'll wait. Be quick though."

[Happy]

Alex looks and Rhia, "It will be quick, I promise"

Alex Runs through the caern in lupus as fast as he can howling for his friend, Heather.........

[Meghan]

Sitting, bored, under a tree, Heather hears the familiar howl of her friend Alex. She hurridly gets up and rushes in the direction of his howl.

[Happy]

Seeing heather running from a distance he meets her and says, "Follow me, I need your help," and they rush towards Rhia.

<I have her on the phone she knows the situation we are talking in character on the way back to you>

They arive back at Rhia and the spirit moments later.

Alex looks at heather, "Ok, claw me, tear me up" Alex hits his knees and exposes his chest.
