"If everyone from here just started showing up randomly at other septs looking to join, I wouldn't think good things were happening here. But then that would just be my hunch."

Bete looks from one sept member to the next as they question Elliot. "Now I understand why Darien is questioning Elliot but why must everyone else? Isn't it the job of the Beta and the Alpha of this sept to make the decisions of who can be here and who cannot," she asks outloud to anyone who is willing to listen.
