Carry reared back again, looking like she might pulverize the Get into the dirt, but instead she just slams her fists into the ground again and then got off the woman, still snarling.

Edith stands up and brushes the dirt and grass from her clothes. For the first time since her grandfather had died she felt like crying, but she held it back; no sense in showing any more weakness. "Okay."
