Under Foot - Dowtown - April 18th

The streets bustled with people preparing for the night's festivities. Tarynn moved through the corwds, most not paying any attention to her, with a smile on her face, the celebratory mood contagious. It was nice to have the city under her feet before she left for Cincinati, she had never really been out of the metro area, Louisville was her home. It might not be the nicest place in the world, it might hold some bad memories, but it was her home.

Carry follows along behind Tarynn, weaving her way through the people. Unlike Tarynn, most people quickly got out of Carry's way, some going as far as moving to the other side of the street to stay away from her. Carry seemed oblivious to this though, as she moves to catch up with her beta.

"So where are we going anyways?" she asks.

[Schwibby]

"Just wandering. Getting the city under our feet. Do we really need a destination?" Tarynn grined as she weaved in and out of the crowd with ease.

[Mouse]

Carry chuckles, finally catching up with the woman and walking next to her, people getting out of their way like Carry was made of cancer. "Nah, no destination needed. You just seemed to look like you knew an exact spot you were going to."

Devon, so used to people moving out of the way, walks straight into Tarynn. "Oh, I'm sorry. Hey! What are you doin?" He grins.

Tarynn turns her head to face Carry, not really paying attention to where she's going, "It's a habit from before things got...fuzzy. People seem to not mess with you when you appear to have a destination, not paying attention makes you an easy - - oof!" Tarynn looks up from the ground to see Devon standing above her, "Appearantly I'm sitting on the ground."

[Mouse]

Carry looks up to Devon, a grin on her face, and then leans down to help her beta to her feet. Now that Devon had arrived, there was a slowly growing bubble of empty street around the trio, as people got out of their way.

"Hey man, how're you doing?" she asks Devon.

"Pretty good, I came to see the fireworks." Devon smiles, but it falters as he looks around at the fearful faces in the crowd. "You guys wanna come watch from my spot?"

[Mouse]

Carry shrugs. "Sure. It'll prolly be better than trying to force our way down to the river." She looks to Tarynn. "What do you think?"

Tarynn looks around and shrugs, "Works for me. I was just kinn've wandering."

[DerekCase]

Devon turns and starts off toward the bridge. "Alright, it's this way." He turns down first, and climbs the back of a building in the alleyway. "Up here guys."

[Mouse]

Carry glances up, and then begins to climb, though not very gracefully. She flops up on top of the building and turns to her back, looking up at the sky for a moment before standing.

Tarynn scales the building a little more gracefully than Carry and plops down on the roof, staring at the sky.

Devon trots off, leaping across three rooftops before stopping before the second street bridge. "Just a little further." At a run, he clears the distance from the rooftop to the beams under the bridge and sits to wait for the others.
