Lily tucked her legs in closer, the wind picking up, tossing her deep brown curls. The moon was almost full tonight, bright and promising as it cast down on her. It was well past midnight tonight, and tomorrow was another day of work at PetsMart. The grass was soft under her elbows as she leaned back, looking up at the dancing stars. Her hickory eyes soaked everything in, thirsty. The lights were on in the living room in the off white home, but no one was parading around the house. Something cracked behind her in the woods, but it was just a brown rabbit, darting in between the trees. Lily's eyes followed it easily, though the light was sparse in the thicket. Her full mouth curled into a sweet smile, easily entertained by the rabbit's dance.

A man walks down the street, he is noticeably Garou to anyone with at least Garou lore 2. He carries himself high, even though he's dressed down. He wears only a hoody and some jeans. He looks ahead unconcerned of what lies around him, this is his city, and he knows that.

Lily saw his approach, and with a smile on her face, tilted her head back, emitting a playful, very human, howl at the moon, though the resonance in her chest alotted for something more.

[Mr Speaks]

He turns his head and looks at her. Considering her for the moment he crosses the street.

"Hello there, responding to the Cherokee Caern call?"

Lily hopped up, brushing the grass off of her jeans, a sweet grin played across her face. "Nope, actually. I haven't heard about it, what's it about?"

[Mr Speaks]

"Oh wow, a Garou in the city that's not part of his call." He shakes his head with a slight laugh.

"The Sept Alpha over there put out a call to defend the two Caerns they control."

Lily cocked her head to the side, obviously thinking. "My mom's just a kinfolk, and I don't think she has gotten a hold of anyone about my first change... So if you could do that, that would be awesome!" Her eyes brightened, as she stood, bounding slightly. "Oh! Could you just take me to the Caeren?"

[Mr Speaks]

"Sure, I'll walk you there. First change eh? When was this?"

He nods his head to the East.

Lily smiled softly, moving in stride with him. "It was like, three days ago. She wasn't very happy and still hasn't replaced the couch cushion."

[Mr Speaks]

"Oh, wow. Yes that's not long ago. I bet your happy, step up in society and what-not."

"Something like that." Lily agreed, shoving her hands in her jean pockets. "I'm really excited, and I guess it's serendipity to find you. So what's your name, and what tribe are you, how long you been changing?"

[Mr Speaks]

"Ian Mcdaniels, and I'm a Glasswalker. I've been changing before you were born, perhaps even when your mom was a kid."

(he doesn't look particularly old)

Lily's eyebrow shot straight up. "No way, you're full of it. How old are you?"

[Mr Speaks]

He thinks, then shrugs, "Old enough, I guess."

Lily stared at him, incredulous. "No way, that's not an answer! How old are you?"

[Mr Speaks]

"Hmm, 40-ish, 50-ish. One of the two, I've stopped paying attention"

Lily looked blatantly surprised and confused. "For real? You look just a bit older than me!"

[Mr Speaks]

"Well, we age slowly. Be happy being a teenager, you'll look like it for a while," He says with a grin.

Lily grinned in response to him. "That's so badass." She kicked at the ground a few times, her attention going back to the sky. "So tell me about the alpha. Is he vicious? Is he a beast? Is it even a he?"

[Mr Speaks]

"It's a he, and I don't personally know him. Perhaps you should meet him and then tell me about him."
