Searching for Tarynn. . . 3/1

[Kingrex]

As Edward walked down the street he saw a man speaking on his cell phone. Edward focused energy into his hand and grabbed the mans cell phone. He'd never remember having it.
"Hello?" Edward said.
"Yes?" A voice replied from the other end. "Who is this?"
"Get off the phone," Edward said, "he hates you now." Edward flipped the phone shut.
Now what was Tarynn's number? Edward paused.
"Oh wait," he thought out loud, "Bone Gnawer; no phone."
He placed it in his pocket for later.
He continued his search; keeping his spirits up with a jolly tune. "867-5309."

Tarynn Sat on top of The Carboard Palace tying little bits of scrap metal into her hair.

Edward finally found her. "Tarynn!" he said into the cell phone as he approached her. He looked at the phone and he looked back at her. He raised the cell phone in the air and waved.
"Did you hear what happened?" he said, suddenly sounding solemn.

Tarynn waved back at him and hopped off the box.

"No, what happened? And where did you get a phone?"

[Kingrex]

Edward looked at the phone with a puzzled look. "That's not important." He placed it back into his pocket.
"We met with that name breaker Michail, Michelle, Mikey, or something like that. We were ambushed at a restaurant as we spoke by four other such name breakers. We even apprehended one." Edward got a proud look on his face. "I decapitated the others."
Edward's proud expression fell away. "However Speaks was not happy. Apparently we were not supposed to deal with this name breaker. We are awaiting punishment. I only have mine own ignorance to blame."

"Hopefully he won't be too hard on you. You were just following orders right? If anyone should be punished it should be the elders that led you into the mess."

Tarynn shook her head. "I'm sorry I wasn't there. My brother was looking for me again."

[Kingrex]

"No, for following blindly, I deserve what ever punishment is deemed necessary."
He smiled. "It's alright. Did you find one another?"

Tarynn started to shake a little. "The Litany says that we have to submit to those to above us, unless we will be punished. You followed orders and obeyed the litany and you're going to be punished. How is that fair?!"

She takes a breath and calms herself down. "It's hard for him to find me when I don't wish to be found."

[Kingrex]

Edward looked away from her; he almost looked ashamed. When his gaze returned any sadness that had once been there was washed away. "You may be right." He smiled and hugged her. "You always keep me out of trouble."
He put his hand to his chin, thinking.
"What shall we do now m'lady?"

She smiled. "From mt point of view you did nothing wrong, but then again I don't have the rank to pull to challenge Speak's decision, otherwise I would."

Tarynn paused to think for a moment. "We should probably head back to the Caern. Maybe Carry's floating around, she might be able to sort all of this mess out."

[Kingrex]

"Very well," he said. "Let us be on our way."
As they walked down the street the phone in his pocket rang.
"Hello?" he said tentatively as he flipped it open.
"Ping." a voice replied.
"Uh . . . what?"
"Ping," the voiced repeated. "I pinged you."
"I have no idea what your talking about," Edward said. He looked to Tarynn questioningly, as if she could hear the conversation.
"Tim?"
"No, Ed; never call me again." He flipped the phone closed. He looked to Tarynn and smiled. "As I said, let's be on our way."

Tarynn gives him a questioning look. "What was that all about? And what's with that phone?"

[Kingrex]

"I have no clue." He looked at the phone long and hard. "Well we could always eat it, or sell it for better food, or just keep it just in case. As to where I got it - that's unimportant."
Edward continued casually toward the Caern.

Tarynn rubbed her belly, "Mmmm....food. What kinn've place buys cell phones though? Pawn shop? Pizza sounds really yummy."

[Kingrex]

"My guess would be a pawn shop."

[Schwibby]

"Then lets go!" Tarynn starts to run off ahead of Edward then stops and looks back at him. "Where's a pawn shop?"

[Kingrex]

"Good question," he said. Then he paused. "I thought we were gong to the Caern."

Tarynn pouted. "But pizza..."

[Kingrex]

"You make a persuasive argument. Very well. . . pizza."

[I seriously don't want to go though the craziness of trying to hunt down a pawnshop and the RPing out all that insanity, so I say they pawned the phone and got some pizza. Sound good?]

Tarynn walks out of the pizza parlor holding her stomach. "My gods that was delicious. I think my stomach might explode."

"Yes, but we should have gotten wings too, instead of just a whole lot of pizza. Now, can we go to the Caern?"
