Looking for Carry

[Happy]

Windy walks through the Caern in Lupus looking for Carry, he had an important proposition for her.

[Mouse]

Carry can be found pacing back and forth by the campfire in homid. She seems to be mumbling to herself under her breath.

Seeing Carry, he takes a second to shift to homid, and approaches the fire. "Hey, you ok there?"

[Mouse]

Carry jumps slightly when Windy speaks to her, and then, taking a deep breath, she calms herself. "Yeah...yeah I'm alright. Haven't been sleeping well, is all. Need to go talk to Tide later...remind me."

She shakes her head, falling silent for a moment.

Then, "What's up?"

[Happy]

"I will do my best to remind you." He takes a second to gather his thoughts. "I was hoping you might want to make an exchange. I have been troubled lately by the fact that I don't know many rites, and as a Fostern I should really be more practiced with our rituals. I only know a couple, but if you don't know them I would be glad to teach you in exchange for you teaching me as well."

[Mouse]

Carry smiles a little. "Of course. I only have a few I /can/ teach you, but I'll teach you the ones I can."

She thinks for a moment. "I know the Rite of Cleansing, and the Rite of Renunciation. Both are basic Rites, and should be easy enough to learn. Once you gain some more renown, I can teach you Rite of the Opened Bridge."

[Happy]

He smiles brightly. "Awesome, I know the Rite of Talisman Dedication and the Moot Rite, should be easy enough to teach. I really appreciate it, thanks Carry."

[Mouse]

Carry nods, returning the smile. "I've been wanting to learn Rite of Talisman Dedication, so that's perfect."

She sits by the fire, and motions Windy to join her. "Shall we start now, or do you need to gather things first?"

[Happy]

He walks over and takes his backpack off, before sitting down. "We should be good to start now."

[Mouse]

Carry nods, and reaches over for her army jacket. She digs around in the pocket, and pulls out several items. Bits of shiny metal and string, a water bottle, and other small trinkets.

"Keep in mind, these rites were taught to me by other Bone Gnawers, and so you are going to learn to adjust for things that make you comfortable, just like I'll have to do with the rites you teach me. There's no one correct way to do this."

Windy reaches over and unzips his bag. He pulls out a cantine, bits of shrapnel, and an old looking dagger style bayonet that was polished to a perfect shine. "I am ready when you are"
