What I miss? 2/16/09

[Mr Speaks]

Teela walks about the bawn, a feeling of strangeness in the air. Even the love spirits seem disturbed.

She sits back on a fallen branch and wonders what she missed.

[Mouse]

Carry - Lupus

Carry comes trotting past Teela, and pauses for a moment, contemplating the love spirits. <<Something is wrong...>> she growls under her breath. <<I have never seen the spirits of the bawn act like this...>>

[Mr Speaks]

(it started a while ago, mostly noticeable to the Theurges, now noticable to more. They got worse after the mages came)

"Yea, looks bad. What's going on?"

[Mouse]

Carry pads over to Teela, sitting down and biting at an itch on her rump.

<<I'm not sure...I'll have to find that new Uktena Theurge and see if he can figure it out.>>

She then looks at Teela. <<We haven't met yet. I am Carry. Rited Speaks to Stars. Fostern Metis Galliard of the Bone Gnawers. And you are?>>

[Mr Speaks]

She bounces up and kneels back on her ankles looking Carry in the eye, "I am Teela "Walks the Night Sky" Cliath Ragabash of the Silent Striders."

She starts to sniff at Carry, but stops once her doesn't work as well as she expected.

[Mouse]

Carry cocks her head to the side, one ear sticking straight up and the other flopped slightly as Teela sniffs at her.

<<Careful. I smell like a mangy dog, no matter how much I try and bathe it off. It drives my...roommate...crazy.>>

[Mr Speaks]

"Oh? I guess you smell," She thinks, "wolfy. What's wrong with that?"

[Mouse]

Carry gives a wolfy grin. <<Yea Maybe like a wolf who needs a good bath.>>

[Mr Speaks]

She laughs, "Maybe. So Carry, where do you come from?"

[Mouse]

"Cincinatti" Carry says, leaning down to draw in the dirt with her finger. "How about you Teela?"

[Mr Speaks]

"The woods," She smiles, "that's all."

[Mouse]

Carry chuckles. "You a Lupus I take it?" she asks, continuing to draw in the dirt. "Do you know what state your woods were in?"

[Mr Speaks]

"Yup."

"This one I guess. Is it important?"

[Mouse]

Carry chuckles. "No. I suppose it's not very important. I just like knowing things, that's all."

[Mr Speaks]

"Ok." She smiles.

[Mouse]

Carry nods, giving a wolfy girn, and then shifts up to Homid, using her foot to clear away her drawings. "How long have you been here now Teela?" she asks. "Have you thought about joining one of the packs at all?"

[Mr Speaks]

"The others don't really talk to me much. But I've been here at least a full moon."

[Mouse]

Carry nods. "I haven't seen you around much either honestly. You should get to know the group a bit. We're really nice. Don't bite, I promise." She grins.

[Mr Speaks]

"I'll try," she bows her head shyly.

[Mouse]

Carry nods and clasps Teela's shoulder in a friendly manner. "That's good. We can always use more help."

[Mr Speaks]

Teela looks down at Carry's then smiles again, which slightly turns into a grin for only a slight moment.

[Mouse]

Carry returns the smile, and the nstretches, arcing er back slightly. "I had better get going. It's my turn to do the rounds around the bawn. I'll talk to you later, ok?"

She begins to shift again, this time stopping in Hispo.

Edith walks up to Teela. "Who are you, I don't think I've seen you before." She tries to stare Teela down.

[Mr Speaks]

"Okies," She says to Carry.

She then looks to Edith.

"I've been here for a full moon? Maybe 2. I move a lot. Your the Get?"

[Mouse]

Carry turns when she hears Edith approach and her hackles rose slightly. She watches silently.
