Introductions

[mars_hackworth]

A young woman, auburn hair bouncing on the breeze, strides down the edge of the road towards a gateway in the large fence holding in the forest. Or holding out the city, she has a hard time telling. Plain dark clothes do nothing to hide the grace in her step. Long strands of hair blow back from her face to reveal glittering green eyes, a snub nose and strong jaw-- a map of her heritage.
Quickly checking to be sure she wasn't watched, she slides behind a bush. Odd crunchy sounds begin and fade before a long beautiful howl reverberates through the area.

<Whispers Justly, Cliath, Philodox, Fianna, Homid.>

[Mr Speaks]

There's a rustling in the bushes preceding a large man emerging. He's built very muscular with pale blond hair hanging to his shoulders. His eyes are a milky wide and rarely move.

He walks out towards the gate and pulls out a key.

"Well, all the new people are coming, so odd after a year of silence. Where are you from?"

He unlocks the gate and opens it, waiting politely for her to pop out of the bushes.

More rustling and a very muscular redhead pops out from behind the bush, slipping a backpack over her shoulder as she comes closer.
"Umm."
She adjusts her shirt and shuffles her foot a little, then straightens to stand tall next to the larger man.
"I just came out of some time in Illinois. Before that I was from Wyoming. Mountains and junk. So...a lot of new people lately?"

[Mr Speaks]

'Mountains and junk, quite. Yes lots of new people."

He shuts the gate and starts to walk back into the park, " come, let's see if we can't find some others "

'So what all experience so you have? What all do you do? Oh yea, my name is Eli, welcome to Fortunes Landing.

[mars_hackworth]

"I'm Camille...I'm good with fixing things. I uh, worked a lot with landscaping. Just seem to do well with arranging plants."
She follows him into the park, wondering what sort of people will be found inside. People don't seem to like her sometimes for no reason, she hopes it will be different here like it was in Wyoming. Welcoming...
"So what do you do here, Eli?"

[Mr Speaks]

"I've been one of the caern warders for a while now. We've been taking defense seriously. But otherwise I'm just muscle. Starting taking some engineering courses lately though, gonna build a better fence. Maybe some more cameras once I know how. "

[Happy]

Windy approaches Eli and the new person. "Why hello there, I'm Brian Martin, "Pierces the Wind" Philidox Fostern of the Glasswalkers." He extends his hand to the young woman.

[mars_hackworth]

Camille takes the hand offered, firm grip and a few shakes. "Camille, Whispers Justly. Philodox, Fianna. I'm glad to meet you. How long have you guys been here?"

[Mr Speaks]

"Hmm, about three years now I believe. Its changed quite a bit."

Eli continues to lead the way in.

[mars_hackworth]

"Wow, so you guys have known each other a good while. That's pretty cool."
Whispers follows, slightly to one side so she can look all around and take in the sights of what may be a new home. "Do people...uh. I mean, when they come, do they tend to stay a while?"

[Happy]

"They do, we have had many great people that have called this park home. Some have moved on others we have lost in battle. But it is always nice when new people come to join our sept...our family."

[Mr Speaks]

"Only death pulls people away from this place, usually."

Unfortunately there's been a lot of death lately though.

[mars_hackworth]

"Well that's both comforting and...foreboding. But thank you for being honest."
She tugs her shirt into place again, jams a hand in her jean pocket and turns her face towards Windy. "What do you do around here? Is there any job I could help with in the next few days? I'll be kind of itching to do something useful after a good nights rest..."

[Happy]

"I am the Beta of the Rat pack, and one of the few Philidox we have here. I am also a very handy shot with a gun."

[Mr Speaks]

"Don't listen to him. He talks big. I've personally never even seen him use a gun. "

[mars_hackworth]

"But you already know seeing is not believing. But don't worry, I will judge you softly by your actions as I assume you would do the same for me."
A little bow as they kept walking, a smirk escapes one side of her mouth. This place is beautiful, Whispers cannot wait to settle in.

[Mr Speaks]

"You're a serious one. That'll be good to have around. "

[mars_hackworth]

Whispers chuckles a little. "Good to know you'll enjoy that. I can't quite help it sometimes."
She picks up her pace a little, suddenly very curious what lies ahead.
