Times change, leaving the Crescent
After a day of fasting Speaks of Mist stands in a clearing in the Bawn. Glistening from having bathed himself in cleansing water. A fire burns hot in the center of the clearing.
Speaks of Mist takes up a dark black set of robes and settles them onto his shoulders. Tying the belt around his waist he fastens the robes to him. Then he picks up long shawl-esque vestment and settles it onto his shoulders. The outfit gives him the appearance of an older Judge.
He takes a few steps towards the fire, stopping only to pick up some incense and a few charms and feathers from a log, old belongings.
At the fire he reaches down and takes a handful of ash, using the ash he paints upon his face a mask of office of sorts.
Giving one last moment to look upwards to the sky, a Half-moon, he flings the incense into the fire. Waiting a moment to let them burn he then flings in the other belongings.
He waits until the last bit of the objects crumble into ash. Then he raises his head and states to those not around him, "I am Speaks of Mist, Rishi Forest Walkers of the Gurahl."
(To alleviate any confusion in the new players, what just happened was Speaks preformed the Rite of the Changing Moons. It is the rite that allows the Gurahl to move from one Auspice to another in the order of: Ragabash-Ahroun-Galliard-Theurge-Philodox. Basically their stages of life goes: Trickster cub - Fierce Warrior - Honored Storyteller - Dedicated Healer - Wise Leader.
Speaks just moved from his Theurge Auspice into the Philodox auspice, thus entering the last stage of his life in a sense.)
